Replacing the TIS Tronic 260U fuse and sensors, the consumables not covered by warranty, and when a job must go to an accredited service centre.
Two service jobs are safely owner-serviceable — the fuse and the temperature sensors — and everything else on a boiler under warranty belongs with an accredited service centre.
Isolate first
Before performing any repair work, be sure to disconnect the regulator plug from the 230 V power supply.
Fuse replacement
If the fuse blows, replace it only with a new one of the same rating. The fuse holder is on the control unit motherboard, at the back of the regulator housing.

Fuse failure is not covered by warranty
A fuse that blows repeatedly is a symptom, not the fault. Find the overload before fitting the third one.
Sensor replacement
Isolate
Disconnect the power plug from the electrical outlet.
Open the housing
Unscrew the fixing screws on the back of the housing, then remove the top cover.
Find the socket
Use the terminal map: T1 boiler, T2 HUW, T3 exhaust, I1 STB.
Release the wire
Press the connector with a flat screwdriver to release the fastening clip, then disconnect the wire.
Fit the replacement
Sensors have no polarity — wiring sequence is not significant. Correctly installed wires provide a reliable connection: it is impossible to disconnect the wire without pressing the terminal. If a wire pulls free, it is not seated.
Refit the sensor in the boiler
The CH sensor goes into the immersion well, then the STB on top of it. No liquid in the well. The sensor must be installed in a dry place.

Higher-temperature thermal protection is available as DZT-2 (opens 200 °F / 95 °C, closes 155 °F / 70 °C), versus DZT-1 (opens 185 °F / 85 °C, closes 140 °F / 60 °C). Order from MBtek under Parts — UNI 15-40-60-95.

What must go to service
Unauthorised repair voids the warranty
The controller can be connected and put into operation by an accredited representative. Unauthorised activation, making changes to the device, and repairs may cause deterioration of the boiler's operating parameters and its safety — and lead to loss of warranty for both the regulator and the boiler as a whole.
Warranty repairs can only be performed by a specialised organisation: the installer, service centre or distributor accredited by the manufacturer. Warranty repairs are free of charge.
Before a warranty repair, the equipment must be cleaned of soot, tar and other contaminants, and the customer must provide access and facilities to perform the work.
Controller environment
The controller must be kept from hard freezing, overheating, water, or a very high-humidity environment.
If water or condensation enters the controller: disconnect immediately, dry using a hairdryer at a low temperature, wait 24 hours, then reconnect.
Disposal
The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol means the product must not be disposed of in regular waste bins. Return used equipment to a designated collection point for waste electrical and electronic equipment. Manufacturer environmental registration number: 000002627.
